El BelgARISTA
Belgian and Colombian. Born in Manizales, in the heart of the "zona cafetera". Adopted as a baby and raised in Belgium. I am now back to my Colombian roots.
After a career influenced and inspired by experts in the world of "Specialty Coffee", in Belgium and Colombia. I returned to train as a barista at the Medellín Barista School in October 2022.
Today, I supervise students while developing my "Experiencias Cafeteras" project.
I speak Spanish, French and English. This allows me to share with you my love of coffee and a unique perspective on Colombia.

Not all coffees are delicious in Colombia. Surprising in such a famous producing country!? This may even disappoint coffee lovers.
The explanation lies in the fact that the market is mainly focused on the export of its best grains. The result is that, paradoxically, the Colombian consumer is not familiar with the subtleties of his own country's flagship product.
That said, the best beans and the know-how of the "cafeteros " will come to you, if you knock on the right doors!
