Since 2010, the NGO Proyectarte has been offering personal development training that combines art and psychology.
By making a donation to Proyectarte, you are helping children, young people, and families living in communities marked by violence and a lack of opportunities in Colombia.
Through art, sports, and connection with nature, we help them recognize and develop their personal, interpersonal, and social skills in order to expand their options for building a life plan.
Each of our programs is designed to have a positive impact on teenagers, young adults, and families by providing them with the tools they need to heal, thrive, and build a future full of possibilities.
Projects / Programs:
“Hilos de paz” / “The Threads of Peace”
We support the social reintegration of adolescents and young adults who have emerged from armed conflict by helping them develop life skills through experiential methods.
“Generation Colibiri”
We help teenagers, young adults, and families become the new Colibri Generation—a generation that contributes to the world by achieving various goals:
Develop one's potential and seize opportunities for one's own benefit and that of others.
Improving interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships by respecting differences and diversity.
Make independent decisions that contribute to one's personal development and social impact.

Yes. Your donation is tax-deductible if you make your contribution through our European Friends Fund, which is administered by the King Baudouin Foundation in Belgium.
In Belgium, donations made to approved organizations are eligible for a tax deduction equal to 30% of the total amount donated, provided that:
the total amount of your donations reaches at least €40 per calendar year per organization;
you are subject to income tax in Belgium.
The King Baudouin Foundation will issue you a tax receipt.

Your donation directly supports the continuation of the Génération Colibri project (2026–2029), a Proyectarte program that aims to:
to promote the personal and collective development of children, youth, and their families from vulnerable neighborhoods in Medellín,
strengthen their social, emotional, and creative skills,
provide safe spaces for artistic expression and civic engagement.
Thanks to your support, we can ensure the long-term viability of our programs, pay our local teams, and provide ongoing support to the participants in our projects.

Yes, there are two main ways to get involved with Proyectarte:
In Belgium
By joining the Ambassadors' Committee, a group of volunteers that organizes annual awareness-raising and fundraising activities and events to support Proyectarte.In Colombia (Medellín)
By joining the local Proyectarte team directly for a volunteer assignment lasting at least three months, depending on the project’s needs and your profile. A certain level of Spanish is required.
